Hotels vs. Flats in Spain

This “battle” if I can express myself in this way always pay people attention, because in this way they can decide what to choose for their next holiday. Of coarse, both hotels and flats have their own pros and cons. But, in a country likes Spain is really important to understand the basic difference or at least why to go or not to go there.

As one of the most visited countries in Europe, Spain entrepreneurs  and hoteliers are trying to come up  with better ideas how to attract people more. From one side, in the hotels you can meet excellent service and polite attitude, but it could be expensive and noisy, because you share this place with about 200 people. On the other side in the apartments you can manage everything by yourself - to clean, cook and maintain which decrease the price. I was in Spain, Barcelona and have to say that the hotels there were very beautiful and strategy located, but expensive. This drove me to the idea to check the vacation rental in Barcelona and to decide where to stay.

According to the prices, a person can meet high prices ( like 30euro per night with breakfast ) which is not an offer. The price for rents is not that cheap too, because people who purchase it prefers to take it for long term period to get some discounts. The variety for flats is varying among 650 – 900 Euro depends on the city and neighborhood.

In Barcelona for example there is low cost places which are highly demanded, because it is preferred destination for business or pleasure. I have found short term rentals Barcelona apartments for less money, because I negotiate and book it for long-term.
